Hello ！ I am Olivia Lee from the ELCHK Yuen Long Lutheran Secondary School in Hong Kong. Due to the pandemic we are facing, many of the schools in Hong Kong have adopted e-learning and have lessons online. For me (and I believe quite a number of students in Hong Kong), we prefer learning at school rather than learning at home as it is always more interacting when we can meet our classmates and teachers face to face. Furthermore, We can raise questions in a more convenient way through face-to-face learning. It is quite troublesome when we have to learn online as we cannot directly see one another and it is also harder for us to concentrate well despite the fact that we can just stay at home to have lessons!
Hi Olivia, nice to see you again, and thank you for sharing your situation about Education.
Hi all, please find the combined notes from ISIF2020 Live Talk Day1 & Day2 on Education. As the notes are very big and the half of them are in Japanese, we will try to summarize some points which could help us continue our discussion with all.
Hi everyone! I’m Hinata from Japan.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>It’s been a while since we had the ISIF session. Hope you are doing fine.</p>
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys I discussed the topic, “education” with. It was such a pleasure to share different opinions and think deeply about the future of education in the world. I was able to deepen my understanding of Japan’s education, as well as what we have to aim for in education, especially in this pandemic.
Lastly, I’ve written a little too much but I’m so proud that I met you, and I hope we could meet in person to discuss more some time too!
